Known Application

  1. Development of liquid crystal display materials (LCDs):
ET-PCC5 belongs to the class of bicyclohexane-substituted aromatic amine compounds. Its molecular structure has a rigid skeleton and hydrophobic side chains, which helps to form specific liquid crystal phases (such as nematic phase or cholesteric phase).
As a liquid crystal monomer or intermediate, it is used to adjust the phase transition temperature, dielectric anisotropy, refractive index and other properties of liquid crystal materials.
  2. High-performance polymer material monomer:
Because it contains active amine groups (1,3-diamine), it can also be used as one of the monomers of high-performance polymers such as polyamide and polyimide, giving the material excellent thermal stability and mechanical properties.
  3. Application in advanced display or optical materials:
In new optoelectronic technologies such as OLED, flexible display, LC phase-controlled optical devices, this type of structure may be used to regulate optical anisotropy or molecular orientation.
